Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which hit the screens on July 17 this year, is a storm that is rocking the box office and how! In its third week now, this Kabir Khan directorial has netted Rs 292.23 crore in India itself, a figure that has earned it the tag of an 'all-time blockbuster'.
The film, which crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in its first three days itself (India collections), is still pretty strong at the box office. After Bajrangi Bhaijaan, films like Masaan and Drishyam have hit the screens, but Salman fans are still flocking to the theatres to catch a show of his Eid release. The film opened to mixed-to-positive reviews from critics and huge numbers at the theatres. It has fared well overseas too.
#BajrangiBhaijaan crosses #Dhoom3. Emerges 2nd HIGHEST grosser [after #PK].
Heading towards ₹ 300 cr... Hindi films. India biz.

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan fever has gripped audiences in Pakistan, and thanks to the positive Indo-Pak message in the movie, the Salman Khan-starrer has received phenomenal response, with people thronging to watch the film even a week after its release. Theatre owners claim to have witnessed a record number of people leaving cinema halls misty-eyed after watching the movie, about a Bajrangbali (Hanuman) devotee Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi's (played by Salman) journey from India to escort a six-year-old mute Pakistani girl back to her village.
